Bike Race themed after ‘The Postman’ movie…..

At the following link:
The Postman’s Calling Alley Cat on May 30, is themed after the 1997 Kevin Costner film, “The Postman” in Gainesville, Florida. The race includes the four local post offices in Gainesville where each post office will clue bikers as to where their next location should be. The race starts in front of Spin Cycle at 4 p.m., and a party with live bands, DJs and food will follow after the race at the bike shop.

KC & MW a prize in silent-auction fund raiser…..

The Grove Community School in Toronto, Ontario, is having their first annual silent-auction fundraiser, "Spring Fever," in the Drake Hotel Lounge at 1150 Queen Street West, Toronto. It will be held Sunday, May 31, 2009, at 4:00pm - 7:00pm. There’s an entry fee of $20.00. New project in the works for KC on A&E….

According to the following link:
A Western is being developed as a four-hour, two-part miniseries to be written by Jon Baird, Chris Baird and Keith Quinn and Executive produced by Costner and Armyan Bernstein. The project focuses on the expansion and development of the American West after the Civil War. Tana Nugent Jamieson, A&E’s Senior VP of Drama Programming said that there’s a character that Kevin is interested in playing and that he may direct part of it. She also said, "Costner understands the Western better than anybody, and he respects the genre. He knows every bit of detail about the West; this is a genre he feels a lot of passion for. It's a perfect fit."

New KC & MW Concert date Stamford, CT….

NASCAR and KC latest news links…..

According to the following link, KC & MW are going to perform before the 25th annual All-Star Race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, and will open for Montgomery Gentry. Kevin quote: “I have been a longtime NASCAR fan and to be able to perform at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, what many consider to be NASCAR’s home track, will be an incredible experience. With all the hype that surrounds the All-Star Race it is sure to be a spectacular night and I am excited to be a part of it.”
