cmt_dude comments on KC & MW’s taping of the “Live at the Revival” that was posted about on KC & MW’s website, June 1st, how “the lucky folks who got to see this show were totally loving it and loving seeing Kevin in a new way off of the silver screen and behind a guitar and mic.” He said it should air in September but it’s not totally clear if it will only be shown in Canada or if also in the U.S.:

The following link is Google’s Birdseye view picture, supposedly, of Kevin’s houses in Santa Barbara, a 3-parcel site, with the polo field he purchased for $28.5M in 2006 just West of these. It says his home in Colorado is also featured on this site:

According to the following link:

The Royal Canadian Golf Association announced that Kevin will take part in the inaugural Mike Weir Charity Classic on July 20, 2009, at the Glen Abbey Golf Club. Other celebrities will include hockey stars Martin Brodeur and Rick Nash, two-time NBA most valuable player Steve Nash, Canadian rocker Tom Cochrane, and American comedian George Lopez. All proceeds will go to charities benefiting from the Mike Weir Foundation.

RCGA executive director Scott Simmons said Costner was happy to be a part of the festivities. “He’s gotten to know Mike through some of the other charity events, and loves the game, and wants to help out,” Simmons said Wednesday on a conference call. “I’m sure he’ll be visible.” Kevin and his band Modern West will provide the entertainment Thursday night, following the first round of the Canadian Open.

PGA Tour stars slated to take part in the charity event include Anthony Kim, Camilo Vilegas, Trevor Immelman, Luke Donald, Fred Couples, Mark Calcavecchia and 2008 Canadian Open winner Chez Reavie.

Recent ‘The New Daughter’ News…..

At the following link:
http://crimealwayspays.blogspot.com/2009/05/boys-will-wreck-your-house-girls-will.html
John Connolly is quoted as saying: “The New Daughter, the first movie to be made from my work, is nearing completion. Last week, John Travis, the movie’s very talented screenwriter, saw it for the first time in a small screening room, or at least saw 98 per cent of it, as the last fine-tuning is still being done. John, who is a harsh judge of his own work, emerged hugely enthused. I’m sure that he won’t mind some of his comments being reproduced here: “It’s an adult, very well acted and directed, beautifully shot movie with a real sense of dread the whole way through ... In fact, it’s almost a little Spanish.” … Or “… maybe it’s like David Cronenberg directed it. It’s kind of like A History of Violence, but with monsters instead mobsters ...”

The Bodyguard stage production…..

According to the following link:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1190937/BAZ-BAMIGBOYE-Houston-weve-got-remake.html
In talks, about the possibility of turning the hit film ‘The Bodyguard’ into a stage production, to open in London in 2012, by David Ian, the London-based producer who has been negotiating the stage rights from Kevin Costner, a producer of the film as well as its star, and Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote it. It would feature ‘I Will Always Love You’, one of the best-selling singles in music history and the other songs that were featured in the 1992 movie, ‘I'm Every Woman’ ‘Run To You’ ‘Jesus Loves Me’ ‘Queen Of The Night’ ‘Trust In Me’ and ‘It's Gonna Be A Lovely Day’.
