Kevin Costner will receive the Joseph Plateau Honorary Award on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Ghent Film Festival and is the highest award of the festival. Other actors who have received this award include Morgan Freeman, Juliette Binoche, Jeanne Moreau, Vanessa Redgrave, Robert Altman and Sydney Pollack. Kevin will also be performing with Modern West that evening.
