Cardiff actor Andrew Howard plays the enforcer, “Bad” Frank Phillips in the series which was shot on location in Romania. “Costner was great – he came on board three weeks into the shoot and was almost presidential in his entrance,”....“He’s an incredibly respectful and humble guy but carries a powerful aura. It was great to work with him – he was so helpful and so positive.” The shoot for Hatfields & McCoys, due to be screened this year in America, is the latest high-profile project for Howard......“It’s a very unglamorous life most of the time as you face rejection. But I must admit that when I was in Romania shooting with Costner I was pinching myself. I mean he’s the guy who made Dances With Wolves. It’s very bizarre.”
