Its a small role, but I did get the chance to work directly with these two fine gentleman. They were gracious, kind, knowledgable and incredibly funny. Paul Marc commented: THE HIGHWAYMAN..being shot partially DONALDSONVILLE…(Kevin Costner, Woody Harrelson, kathy bates, etc)...I spoke with a fellow seemingly intricately involved in the movie. My intent was to see what kind of anti-southern, anti-white propaganda was taking place….lo and behold, he told me it was a factually-based account of the capture of Bonnie and Clyde…the theme….Gov of Texas dies, his wife becomes gov, she dissolves an allegedly corrupt Texas Rangers bunch, which leaves a vacuum of law enforcement to get ahold of B & C…seems Costner’s and Harrelson’s characters round them up…they are killed up around Ruston. The guy I spoke with is not the director (who produced THE ROOKIE, and other films), but he was apparently a spearhead…He was born New Orleans. (circa lessard and charles) (Posted February 17th)
