There had been a site reporting that ‘The New Daughter’ would be released November 5, 2009, and the discussion a month before that was that there’d been no publicity at all so it wouldn’t be released then. What a shock to find that it is going to be released with no publicity except what I found today. There may be more tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully we’ll get some pictures and reviews and hopefully it won’t be long before it’s out on DVD so the rest of us can see it!!

The celebration will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at 7:30pm at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, hosted by LA Times Film Critic Kenneth Turan. A screening of the film will be followed by a cast and crew reunion scheduled to include Kevin Costner, Timothy Busfiels, Phil Alden Robinson, Charles and Lawrence Gordon, John Lindley and Dennis Gassner.
