About the 'Bad Day' Movie: Comment from Lisa Derrick: I really enjoyed it! And it looks great on the small screen, works wonderfully. And you can see costner’s star potential. He is really perfectly cast.. How did he come about being in bad day? Comment by Exene Cervenka: he was in our little workshop. and we were all friendly. so we just asked him the same way we asked everyone else we wanted to be in it. Comment by Modi Frank: and Kevin was friends with Michael Blake who was friends with John and Exene Comment by Exene Cervenka: it’s odd that the timing worked out like it did. because kevin is so involved in helping the gulf coast residents. michael blake was working on dances around then. Excerpt from article entitled: Exclusive: Punk Singer Releases Lost Kevin Costner Movie: Us: What was it like working with Kevin Costner? How was he on set back then? EC: Kevin was just like everybody else on the set. They got there are 7 in the morning, it was pouring rain. He bought us all food because everybody was so broke, so he paid for fried chicken or whatever we ate. It rained the whole time, so everyone had to deal with being in the mud and being wet and cold the whole time, but no one complained and everyone had a really good time. Kevin's got a really good sense of humor. At the following link:

Excerpt from article by Nell Nolan: Now for the real PAWS that "refresh." The inaugural benefit gala and auction presented by the Plaquemines Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) was bannered "A Night for the Animals." Acting as host for the event on his estate was Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser, who was accompanied by fiancee Cher Taffaro. A year later, Kevin and his bandmates in Modern West recount their story, documenting the personal effects the incident has had on them and explain why they felt it was important to come back to Camrose.
