Kevin voiced radio ads for WW1 Museum...

Costner Lends Voice to Museum - This spring, actor Kevin Costner partnered with the Museum to record two radio advertisements encouraging listeners to visit the Museum’s world-class collections. The 30-second spots will air on the Royals Radio Network, a system of 93 affiliates throughout the Midwest in eight states, during the 2011 baseball season. Costner, whose acting roster includes iconic baseball films such as Field of Dreams, Bull Durham and For Love of the Game, visited the Museum in July 2009 and has since agreed to serve on the Museum’s honorary board. “Mr. Costner’s excitement for the Museum and his well-known affinity for baseball created a perfect combination to help us bring awareness of the Museum to Royals fans throughout the Midwest,” said Denise Rendina, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs & Marketing for the Museum. “We look forward to participating in similar initiatives with Mr. Costner in the near future.” See the picture and hear the two radio ads at the following link:
