The Silver Lining Ranch created through the Little Star Foundation, by former Tennis Pro Andrea Jaeger, is in the news today because nearby residents are stopping the sale of the ranch to a Jewish Community Center, citing that the covenant doesn’t allow it. The article about this has a Kevin Costner mention: "Kev is a very loyal supporter. He loved those kids. He stocked his lake with fish for them, and he went to their talent shows," said Costner's close friend Tim Hoctor. You can see the article at the following link:

I don’t fully understand why Andrea is trying to sell the ranch though it seems they are short on funds so I assume fundraising must not be going well. I would hope that someone will be able to step up and purchase the property so that it can continue being used to give sick kids this special time that helps them get through their very tough circumstances.
