The owners of the Field of Dreams movie site have put the property up for sale for $5.4 million which includes the baseball diamond, a two-bedroom, 1 1/2-bath house, six outbuildings including a concession stand and a 193 acre parcel of land. The property has been in the Lansing family for more than a century. “We love the land and the field, but it is time for us to head to the locker room,” said Don Lansing. "We really would just love to become spectators. We want to sit in the bleachers. We want to look forward to all that the 'Field of Dreams' will become in the future," said Becky Lansing. Some people inquiring about the property are thinking of putting up a hotel, water park and even building a minor league ballpark on the site.
