More on the Gulf Oil Disaster…..

Excerpt from the article by Global W, dated June 6, 2010: Today, barges off the Louisiana coast have assembled 26 of his new devices, and have finally ‘won’ BP approval for open water testing on the spill. Its been a long a long road for Costner, who partnered up with Ocean Therapy Solutions (OTS) to develop these drum shaped machines. They have been tested and refined and found to be an extremely effective way to deal with these spills. Costner campaigned to make them mandatory for oil rigs to have at ready, in the case of just such an emergency. At the following link:

Excerpt from the article by Henrietta, dated June 6, 2010: On Wednesday, a spokesperson from BP said that the company had approved six of Ocean Therapy’s 32 machines for testing. They are currently trying to determine where in the gulf to test the machines. If the test is a success the machines will be operating within a week. Better than Rumplestiltskin… This is better than a fairy tale, if the machines work we can all live happily ever after and these machines will definitely spin some gold for Kevin and I think he deserves it. Thank you Mr. Costner for putting your money where your heart is. Most of us balk at buying energy saving light bulbs. At the following link:

Tweets condensed from weeddude:
We took off from Houma-Terrebonne Airport (Houma, LA, USA) and flew directly to the Spill Site/Disaster Site. We crossed over Grand Isle, Elmer's Island, South Pass (South of Venice, LA.,) and then circled the site for 20 minutes. I'm honestly lost for words. Just the vast size of the Gulf of Mexico and the sheer size of the oil spill. There are 55,000 ships in the world. I'm not sure that would be enough to contain the spill. As far as ships go. I was rather shocked at the lack of them around areas of the Oil Spill. Gulf Flyover (Exclusive Video) - On location with the Oil Spill) National Geographic, BBC and French TV were also on the flyover.

As you can tell from the photos. Oil is visible in all directions. Its not small, but large pockets that stretch for miles.
