On March 17th, during the KC & MW LIVE Chat, Kevin confirmed that he will be in the new 'Superman' movie playing the part of 'Superman's' adoptive dad, Jonathan Kent. Kevin also said KC & MW may play some concerts in the Chicago area while he is filming there in September-August.

Filming of the Warner Brothers Pictures' estimated $175 million budget 'Superman' movie will take place in the Chicago area over two or three months starting in August with production centered in far west suburban Plano, (which is about 50 miles southwest of Chicago.) Warner recently started hiring there and making plans for a movie code-named “Autumn Frost,” according to several union and film industry sources, who confirm that “Autumn Frost” is really “Superman: Man of Steel.” Rumor is they've made offices in Naperville and will have 10 weeks of prep and 10 weeks of shooting in Plano and will be bringing a lot of people from California. Outdoor scenes to be filmed in Plano and interior shots in Vancouver, British Columbia.
