The Joliet, Ilinois, JackHammers baseball team is announcing “the appearance of world class actor and musician Kevin Costner” on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at their Silver Cross Field. “Fans may catch a glance of Costner as he lounges in a private suite at Silver Cross Field.” In addition to his appearance they will be giving away 1,000 copies of ‘Field Of Dreams’ and they “recently recreated Costner’s Bull Durham movie poster as a part of the 2010 marketing campaign.” The Joliet JackHammers 2010 Home Opener will be Friday, May 28th, at 7:10pm against Costner’s team, the Lake County Fielders.
