On June 10th: No, San Angelo (Texas) still doesn’t have a drive-in movie theater, but tonight we can sit outdoors on a blanket or in a lawn chair and take our pick of two free movies. “Silverado,” a western with Kevin Costner, will be shown in the parking lot between Miss Hattie’s and the Cactus Hotel at 8:30 p.m. The movie is sponsored by Downtown San Angelo Inc. Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets. The Hot Dog Man will be on hand selling refreshments, or you can bring your own. At the following link:

Bill Zwecker speculates: Now that Kevin Costner is part owner of the minor league baseball team in Zion -- the Lake County Fielders -- it's a good guess the Oscar winner will soon catch a game in the team's new stadium, which opens July 2. No word on when he'll show, but could a Costner appearance also include his playing a post-game gig with his country band Modern West? At the following link:
