KCMW Tells The Story Behind Their Songs: “From Where I Stand” As you all know, our new album, “From Where I Stand,” is set to release overseas soon. We’re very excited about this album and wanted to share the new songs with you… Starting today, we’ll be posting one song off the new album and giving you the back story.
Here’s the first song, “Indian Summer.” This song is a lot like a movie–a small town, the street lights, the river, and the feeling of restlessness and longing on a sleepless night. It’s basically a guy just trying to talk a girl into taking a ride and enjoying the possibilities of life and love before it’s too late. We like the way this opens the album and kind of draws you in to an intimate moment. Anybody who has seen us live knows that we usually come out guns blazing, so we thought we’d change it up a bit here. Hope you enjoy…
